Ingredients for: Pecan Pie Bars
1 can of refrigerated crescent rolls
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup corn syrup (dark or light, doesn’t matter)
1 Tbsp butter, melted
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 egg, beaten
1 9 X 13 Baking Pan
Directions for: Pecan Pie Bars
Pre-Heat Oven to 350°
Unroll the dough and separate into 2 long rectangles.
Lay dough in your un-greased 13×9″ pan and press along the bottom and 1/2″ up the sides, press the perforations firmly to seal.
Bake this for 8 minutes in a pre-heated oven.
While the crust is baking, combine the pecans, sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla and egg and mix in a large bowl.
Pour over crust and bake 18-22 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove and let cool. Cut into squares and serve on a pretty dish!
